I didn't say anything, other than you're a n00b. Which if you click on you're name and see the 5 PVN responses will back up my pointed finger.
You're also surrounded Geographically by European graf artists and you're talking about graf being something for "cool" dudes to do instead of thinking.
There's a process and inspiration there, that has completely flown over your head.

ermmmm...
you said "the noobiest thing you've heard" ..i do admit i'm a qbn noob poster, but that doesn't mean i do not have a clue about what i'm talking about.
ermmm.. i am a street artist. and i do not regret of what i've said. it is a fact that when something that's in essence transgressive, enters and acceptsthe game rules ( system rules) it looses it's essence.
that's a fact man. sorry you just don't understand it.
and believe me it wouldn't be the first time i discuss this with "graf artists".
so bring it on ;) (don't take me too seriously)
- nayades0
Graf is for non-thinkers... what!?!
--------------------------------
i know you were being sarcastic, but that's my opinion. right.
- Gilt0010
Grafitti no longer transgressing? Accepting the rules of the system?
- Gilt0010
Grafitti without a vision?

------------------------------well gilt, no matter how sweet or nice those images are. graffiti has advanced very little, not to say nothing, in the last 15? 20 years?
what does that mean?
it means boredom. exactlyat the page says. we've come to a point where stencils and spray phrase do no longer captivate our eye. i'm oftenly surprised to pass infront of graffitis and stencils , and not noticing them until somebody tells me.
graffiti is no longer reaching general people but trendy/cool culture. new methods are needed to express new messages... graffiti has become equally decorative as a brick.
at least to me

I refuse to accept the idea that grafitti was ever for 'fame'. Maybe for the young kids in New York. But they started something big. They wanted it to get in your face...
It's advertising minus the capitalist backbone.
