Alba was decent in Dark Angel, which is why I may like her in this movie. I'll have to see it soon. Good thing she decided to not be wired AND naked. Just wired and half-naked.

I just saw it... O M G.... a pretty sweet movie... but the Dancer (cant remember her name) at the end is probably the most beautiful women i have ever seen in my life. holy shit!

it was anything but boring, and the violence wasn't all that shocking because the blood was white.
scenes were over the top because miller's novels were over the top.
sucks that people who have never read the original work or even appreciate the genre are giving it poor reviews...

I just came back from watching it. it was decent, if only a little empty. I went in knowing it was a comic book adaptation and not expecting much, but like the NYT said, it's hard to really "get into" any of the stories.
It is a beautiful movie with great action. It's like a sweet, custom truffle that's delicious in style, but not filling in the story department.
