writing with fat pens is so comfortable though vorm. your fingers aren't all scrunched up on each other down by the tip and with a clean tip and fresh ink they glide like oil
writing becomes effortless ant more artful
i used to work at an office supply store back in the day i had tons of mont blancs
this one chrome fatty was as round as an american quarter but so lightweight with 3 interchangable tips
i miss that pen :(

the Lamy Safari is a pretty great pen....Relatively inexpensive (about $60), work well, easy to maintain. Really fun to draw with. too. Most good art or sattionary supply stores sell em, but a google search will also yield many online sellers. Rotring makes a few models, also really nice, but a bit more expensive...

who the fuck cares version3? No one is going to drop over $100 on a pen.
Osco's used to carry decent, do-the-job fountain pens and cartridges for about $12...wish they still had them.

---------------------------i do.
sorry bout your osco pen experiences.
high end fountain pens use different ink and metals for the tips. they write smoother than the scratchy tin tips on cheapies.
i would own any of the pens i listed but never use it.
coolest for actually writing aside from calligraphy pens though are quills and bamboo
but if you want to keep being an asshole over some expensive pen posts...

Seriously - when was the last you all tried to write? With a pen?
I filled out a purchase order yesterday and it looked like a demented primate had done it.
I used to be a wonderfull scribe...

the Lamy Safari pen is really nice too; i have a handful, and thats my fave. Most art/office supply stores have em, theyre around $35. (Get the medium nib, the fine pt is too fine)
