I've had mine out for almost 1.5 weeks now. Does that suction thing ever go away? Like that weird suction feeling that occurs when you suck air out of the holes where the wisdom teeth used to be. Just wondering, because it's REALLY annoying.

hahahaha yeah that goes away. that nasty taste however stays much more longer.

I see. Thanks sooo much!

well i had all 4 pulled at once. so that could be the reason for the taste staying there so very long.
- Jaline0
Yeah, I had all four pulled out as well. I don't remember how I got home after the surgery. haha.

I dont have wisdom teeth geneticaly
- rabattski0
hahahaha.... i so recognize that. best part btw was that the surgeon was casually asking me these random questions like what i do for a living etc. while he was pulling my teeth. ehm, dude, can't talk right now?

I hate when dentists and surgeons talk to you while they're doing work. It's weird. One girl (I think she was around 5 years older than me) kept asking me about which bars and restaurants she should go to with her friends.
For the wisdom teeth surgery I was sleeping.

i totally hate that. it's like i'm fucking suffering here! stop being so casual!
they didn't put me out though with the teeth, some local anastethics. afterwards it was even more worse since i bled and spit was coming out and i couldn't stop it because it was numb. like a moron.

Yeah, you feel pretty stupid and helpless when all that stuff comes out and you can't feel your mouth.
On the third day after the surgery I kept throwing up every 2 hours. I called the nurse and she told me to stop taking the antibiotics. Turns out I had a lot of dried-up blood inside of me that had to come out.

Man..I loved getting my wisdom teeth you.
All 4 at a time...ton of drugs and the newly released Devil May Cry.
Best 8 hours of gameplay ever. Followed by the weirdest 15 hours of nightmares ever....

hah that happened to me too

you are so lucky, i let mine grow in and they were impacted and there wasn't much room left and it made some of my teeth brittle and they cracked and they had to pull 3 teeth (along with 2 wisdom still under the gums). all this happened in in a span of about 9 years. now i gotta get implants and its costing me about 14k. as in $14,000. for 3 implants. yes, you are lucky.....

Can we live with our wisdom teets?
Mine started to grow and iam wondering if i can keep them if they dont cause trouble

I had all 4 of mine out at the same time Jan 4tha dn I still have those weird bumps that I was told by my dentist will take 6 months to heal... it was a pain but the vicotin... great invention... lol
good luck on getting better... you will soon

Not everyone needs to get their wisdom teeth out.
It depends on how much dental work you've had done before (ie. braces, retainer) and if your mouth is big or small and if you have a weird jaw.

i still have my wisdom teeth, there was a possibility i'd have to get them pulled but somehow they came in just right and didn't mess stuff up.

it was awesome.
The whole gas experience was odd though.
the mask when on..then immediately off again. Then I noticed all the cotton in my mouth...
