i use all types of papers, brown, pink, recycled ... i use it on my invoices, i've even stamped people at conferences.
the stamp is not my identity, but it's one hell of a way to stay environmentally friendly. i hate logos, and i hate sticking to a typeface/style.
i've changed my "logo" BS like 4 times before i got so sick of it.
now i run under my own name, i don't have to register anything, and it's so much easier to keep things under the table.
trust me.
and besides, if everi get popular it'll be my name, not "idea bubble studio" or some shit like that.
ME.

I just put up a new ID design I have been playing with. Please tell me what you think or if you know of something too similar.

logo is good. i just don't dig italicized sans serif fonts

italic comic sans with a bevel is timeless
identity material all the way
and a lens flare if youve got he space

y, i 've been in that predicament in the past ... and found a solid wordmark, set in a more classic typeface ( depending on style ) functions the best
let your work do the talking i say

seed, i'd play around with that idea a little more. it's not immediately recognizable as mg. maybe add a cut where the letters now are meeting and close the g so you can do one color. maybe a straight line on the left of the m, or try reversing the direction of the m circles. did that make any sense at all?

if you have a company name come up with a logo what works in one color b and w that represents the words styles cahnge and so many people try to use what looks cool today for logos it doesnt wofk like that
- ethios0
i just did my surname, a griffin! lots of space for variation, ill probably stylise what i have now or do something around what i already have

If anyone else has any comments on the ID set I posted I would appreciate it.
Once I got home I noticed I noticed the background color is a litlle more yellowish than planned. The color is kind of off on my laptop at work.

logos are easy - especially if its not intended to be a brand (look at bd4d - way too much flexibility for branding) its designing my own website thats proving the never ending task

Does the BD4D logo change alot?

seed, I think snuggles nailed it in the first post, use a wordmark, why over complicate things with a logo and it is a very generic looking one too, it looks like something fresh from the pages of los logos, and why turn 'Mind Ground' into MD and then even worse place the name underneath. I quite like the name 'Mind Ground' so find a font that works. If you can afford it a custom face...
