Having some trouble getting a flash movie to work in IE5 on a mac...dont have one to test on but my mate says that it doesn't load whatsoever...
Here is the link: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/kevch…
Have used the satay method (without the preloader)
It also doesn't load image rollovers whatsoever...grrr...
If anyone can shed some light it's much appreciated!

There are a couple issues one has to deal with when using the satay method while supporting IE5 on Mac.
One is the way that the flash vars get passed in to the movie. For some reason IE5 doesn't pass them in correctly if they are formatted in the flash6+ manner. Place them in Flash4 style as a query string at the end of the file name.
Also, IE4 screws up any params in the page that deal with stage alignment and scaling. To fix this, put those settings directly in the flash file in the development environment (example: Stage.align="TL").
Most of the issues seem to be related to the Flash Vars and params... good luck.

How do i do this:
"Place them in Flash4 style as a query string at the end of the file name."
Sorry, not very experienced in flash to be honest...
Do i just export the swf in flash version 4?

That is so weird...it works fine on my pc in firefox and IE...my mate informs me it also works fine in Safari on a mac...
Apparently before i resorted to the satay method it kinda worked but the flash didnt load and neither did the image rollover...
Is well stressful!!
