My alt tags on my site don't appear in firefox yet, on the current google homepage I can see the ATL tag appearing for World Water Day.
What am I doing wrong?

Found the answer;
http://www.gadgetopia.com/2004/1…Atl tags aren't displayed by firefox as a tooltip - you must use the title tags for this purpose.
e.g. title="This will be displayed"

the title tag should generally be used in a link too..
