I have been having trouble with finding a method of converting .FON files into .TTF files. I have a font in a .FON file which I deperately need to use in Flash. Flash doens't seem to like .FON files and so I cannot even find it in the fonts list.
I tried importing it into Fontlab but got presented with this extremely stpuid error message:
I can't find the font I have anywhere on the internet in .TTF format either, I would appreciate any help you guys could provide to me.
Many thanks,
Tom

or

I am not sure of the difference, I had both and they are different filesizes.

Any other ideas?

both of these fonts look like free sets you can get for PC and Mac at http://www.fontsforflash.com
you need to convert these otherwise

Hmm, OK. But what if I specifically needed these? Is there no way at all?
- JazX0
I highly doubt someone will be able to tell at that size. You're using these for their clear look right? There are plenty that are free or shareware that look virtually the same.

Yep, I know, but I have many other fonts which I am sure there ar eno equivalents of, how would I convert these? Surely there must be an application that will do it for me?

I would go to http://www.downloads.com and type .fon to .ttf
some app WILL come up ;)

An application called "pixfont" seems to of done the trick
