how many of you have had the dream where:
you are back in school and you just remembered you signed up for a class you havent gone to all semester... and you walk into class on finals day and you have no fucking clue what is going on, but if you dont pass, you dont graduate...
seems to be a common dream, any of yous ever had it?

I just told somone yesterday about that dream... I'm not really sure if it was a dream though. I could have smoked too much.

i had it for like a year after graduating, that i didn't actually graduate, and i was still taking a course, which i never attended, and i forgot to study for the final.
[ sorry for the run-on. ]
it's stopped now, though. i haven't had the dream in a while.

I've had this one as well. very strange that it's so common.
In my version I realize that I had signed up for the class but have auto failed it because of missing it so many times... there is no final exam, because I wen't over the limit of absence. I simply forgot I signed up for the class and stop going.
I wonder if the type of class has anything to do with it? For me it's mathematic's. Maybe that is saying something about my absence of logical thinking?
Anyway, I hate that feeling. I remember one dream clearly, I'm walking down a hallway to go to another class when I pass the math classroom (the one I forgot about). I poke my head in and realize that I actually attended this class on the first day (I recognize the teachers and students) and I'm like s*it should I even bother going in and trying to work it out so I can get back into the calss and whatnot... but I end up just saying screw it and leave.
I'm guessing that what this is portraying is not something literal.
Anyone have any ideas or insights? We might be on the verge of a sub concious mental breakthough here.

YES!!
Many times. And I always wake up thinking, "I've been through with college for a few years now, why these dreams?"
People say that real-life frustration manifests itself in dreams about the one biggest thing you've had in your life that is difficult.
For my dad, it was dreams about golf. He'd always have this dream that he had to tee off from within a tall rectangular box, and had to hit the ball out a 6" square window at head level.
Said he's seriously had that dream at least 50 times.

Luckily my dreams lately have often been about skateboarding, but...
One night it will be about me just killing it at a skatepark, pulling EVERYTHING.
Then, the next time I have that dream, I am going to the same park (although it is different physically from dream to dream) and it is either closed, or covered in water, or being torn down, or the wood is all ruined.
I started skating again recently when my GF moved near one of the free outdoor parks here in the city, and it's all I think about anymore.

I am THIS close to hurting the next person who mentions the future and how I am *supposed* to be thinking about it.
I get enough of that shite from my parents.
- version30
jaline you should really worry about what lies ahead with social security going down the drain and the clubbing of seals and britneys baby on the way these all have to be signs of the apocalypse
start earning now for your parents might end up opening doors at walmart

I have that dream every other night.
Mum says people who have that dream are generally extremely organized.

mg33 I hope in your dream while your "killing it" at the skatepark, there is a sublime and beautiful emo based sondtrack that is roaring in the background. And an audience of girls sitting on a mgaicpatch of grass besides the halfpipe, is cheering you on, haning on your every move..
I hope the warm sun makes your skin tingle and the air blows as a crisp, spring scented breeze , swirling beneath lucious silver clouds.

that was the worst dream I had in a long time, some history class that I had blow off. Who said smoking P*t and not dreaming was bad?
- randoman0
brooke, I am living proof that your mums theroy is incorrect (or I am the exception).
- kbags0
my version is more specific...I'm taking an exam that I haven't studied for because I haven't shown up to any classes in a while.
Or sometimes I'm doing well in a bunch of classes, but there's one class that I suddenly remember i haven't gone to in weeks.

please pray that i get into 2nd year
