"i think your write, at uni"

stabbing seems always to work for me, or if you want to be more "subtle" run with scissors and "accidentely" fall into them.

i haven't ever had a problem with apple support.
they're quick and i've never been charged for anything.
maybe i'm just lucky.
one time i asked a guy at the genius bar if you really had to be a genius to work there and he said something along the lines of 'no, cause then we'd have no employees'. then i asked him, 'well, are you a genius?' and he sheepishly said, 'no, are you?'
and i said 'actually, yes.'

Ok:
I bought a brand new powerbook on january, and I recently noticed I have a dead pixel.
So I called to the apple store, and they say:
THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT
What in the hell is that supose to mean?
I bought a refurbished powerbook before this one, a few years ago, I payed less money and everything was working with no problems. this time I payed for a brand new unit, (more $$$) this should have some sort of protection, right?
They say their policy says, one pixel, you are screwed.
i don't think thats right, there has to be something I can do to fix it.
anyone else had this problem?
