dude, people play poker all the time! I didn't think that was illegal.

dobs if that gambling one went back a few more months they'd have my buddies bust on there.
they scheduled a huge game of poker for a week or so. some guy on some blog invited a few people (giving the address no less) and someone narc'd.
next thing they know they're an hour into the game with 15 people and the back door gets kicked in... it's s.w.a.t. with guns in their faces.
haha.
he paid a stiff fine and ALL of their money, even what wasn't being bet was taken. i wonder how the cops split that up later?

"Nah, isit good?"
"Bo Derek's tits! I like sex."
"Awesome"
[Car Crash]
- mrdobolina0

Bo Derek's tits, I like sex.
- mg330

correct me if i am wrong, but isnt Bogus an actual word used in describing crimes as such?
- slinky0
the mob
http://www.chicagocrime.org/type…(well, maybe not THE mob)
- mg330
I like "Deceptive Practice - Bogus Check."
Just seems like they would have used a different word than bogus.
- mg330
And look at all the Peeping Tom reports! LOL
- slinky0

what was that quote from the book?
Something like:
You have a better chance of being killed standing on a corner in a bad Chicago neighborhood than you do in Texas on Death Row.

Freakonomics on Chicago Police and Crime: http://www.freakonomics.com/2005…
- mrdobolina0
ok mg, I misunderstood.
- JazX0
look at the frequency of time when they were killed. Most during the late PM to early AM.
Give me an X-Y graph with the z-vector being a GUN!!
:O
- Mimio0
Cause if you live next to them, you might get to KNOW them.
- mg330
mrb, I'm not talking about murder.
I mean crime in general. Some people were looking in areas they heard were safe, then find out there's way more theft, gang activity, assault, etc. in the area they were looking in.
- mrdobolina0
most people that are murdered know their assailant. so why would buying a condo near them put you at risk?

as long as none of those dots are me i'm ok with that.
