well...not exactly. they call it a "sport touring" bike. It doesn't have as much horsepower as the "sport," but it still has enough to get me in trouble. It's not technically my first bike...I rode my dad's 1985 Kawasaki Ninja 600R last year. My ZX6E is the first one i've owned.

-sputnik-, it's pretty hard to get your self in trouble with a 250cc bike. They can't go much faster then 60mph, so don't pull any stunts and look out for traffic. chances are you'll be just fine.

yea, i'm stunt-free for sure, but it's all those other morons out there blowing through stops signs that worry me ;)

Infact you don't have to be riding the bike for it to be dangerous.
Just the other day I saw this middle aged man from my balcony jump on his ENORMOUS Gold Wing and I noticed something neon yellow on his front brake disk. I heard him fire up the engine and ready to take off realising that his disk lock was still on and it was going to be a pretty quick stop. No need for me to yell from 7 floors up, he wouldn't hear through the helmet anyway.. And yes indeed, he fell pretty badly after 1ft, got the bike all over him and people on the sidewalk ran to help him get the bike off him. I think it took about 7 people to get it up on the stand again. Guy seemed alright but shaken up.
