I was thinking about buying a nano but then it occured to me, for £25 more I can buy a psp.
And the capacity of a memory sticks seem to be getting larger and cheaper.
looking at it from this point of view it made me thing that the Nano is a tad overpriced and not as robust as a psp.

sounds like a no-brainer to me.

they're not even comparable.
are you looking for a music player or a game system? you're not going to carry that big ass psp thing in your pocket if you want to listen to music, and you're not going to try and play that doom hack on an ipod nano if you feel like playing video games.
so where does that leave you?

take a look at the prices of the 2gb memory sticks before you make the comparison...that will jack the price of the psp up to quite a bit more than the nano, then factor in games / movies / etc...
my problem is $249 for a 4gb nano vs $299 for a 20gb ipod...makes the nano seem silly

The price of 2GB Memory Stick Duo is around 137 pounds from SanDisk. However there is a pro version which cost around 200 pounds...

I ended up buying a wee creative mp3 player after thinking I could just use a psp to play mp3s. How wrong I was - the psp's no use if you're walking, cycling or doing anything involving jiggling or lycra.
Now my wee mp3 player's bust, I'm wondering quite what to do. I just wish Sony did an mp3 player that accepts 1gb+ memory sticks...
