Shit, so once again it happened to me -- too much porn or too much cracked software either way i got something nasty. Right after i click my profile at the opening page of my WinXP it goes to my desktop but hell it doesn't let me click anything.
Tried to restart in safe mode but still nothing.
I was thinking to unmount the HD and hook it up to my bros computer as external HD and run anti-virus app.
Any other solutions???

start/all program/accessories/system tools/system restore
restore your machine to a point before it was fucked. then run your anti-virus shits.

hold down F8 when you boot up. or can you hit the little windows button between ctrl and alt, to make the start menu come up?
- bulletfactory0
since you can't use your mouse, can you activate any start menu items with your keyboard?

maybe...

Harddrives are cheap as dirt, so you have no excuse not to go by a new one and install a fresh OS on it. Then make sure you change the jumpers on your old one to hook it up as a slave. EZ-PZ!

Isnt there a way with XP to start from a system install CD or to do an install that leaves all apps and docs untouched? (like install Option 1 on Macs)
I've have lots of Macs but just ordered a Dell laptop for running Alias Autostudio... Windows here I come.... scary...
