Can we have a NTB, PBS & PVN RSS feed organised?
- jaylarson0
Is there a way to make RSS feeds convenient in daily life? I am new to the technology...
- -kappa-0
yeah I have them all accessible from one folder on my Bookmarks Toolbar Folder, and with one click i can see the latest news items from 10 different sites.
Awesome stuff if your into more than just using the net for PRON.

http://www.bloglines.com is pretty good too despite its rather poor looking design. it got me hooked on rss feeds.

rss is very helpful at work, when u don't want to have many sites open.

You read RSS with Mozzila Thunderbird... Great for slacking at the office!
Pretty soon all the usefull sites will start charging for RSS - you'll see. NME already does.

i found some random rss script online (i don't even remember what it was), stripped it down, and added the collapsibility and everything myself

(Sep 28 05, 03:21)It is. It's the first time I've downloaded a pre-made script and not had to fuck around with it. I tried writting this myself once but it's too damn difficult.

anyway, back to the topic...
the only way this can be done short of qbn doing it for us is for one of us to make a blog and update it everytime the columns change

unnoficial. if NT has a prob with it i'll take it down.
btw, just testing. still has some glitches.

do you have a script that gathers it for you or are you manually entering the content?
- -scarabin-0
i downloaded and uploaded magpie as it instructed, but it doesn't come with any default demo page or anything. it's apparently backend stuff you have to call from another php document.
i have no php background so am not sure how to go about creating one. do any of you have an example of it in use and can i see your code?

(Sep 28 05, 04:10)it's a script. it simply scans the html output on the news iframe @ NT and transforms it to xml.
