how?
how do you bend a straight line in ps?
i've gone mad trying to figure this out for the last hour now! help

you need to be more specific.
if it's a path, use the nodeswitcher thing (looks like a V rotated 120 degrees) under the pen pullout
if it's pixels, you could try the liquify filter, or just redraw it bent.

Use the bend filter.

isn't this topical

if you have CS2, use the warp transform tool.

Straights don't bend that easily.
- uberdesigner0
they do after a 6 pack

Only the bi-curious college ones

shut up! I want to know if this can be done. so shut up and stop being silly, this is a design forum for gods sake!!!!!!!

make the line with the pen tool?
- kelpie0
what if you have a horizontal rastered element and you want to fit it to a curve? liquify is rubbish cos it doesn't give you any reference (and it's so innacurate too). I don't think it can be done, but what is this warp transform in CS2 you speak of? please please please please please etc

You may be able to spherize it around your object.

i don't have cs2, but i know cs1 has that distort/spherize filter
it's not an especially sexy solution, but it might help depending on your situation

cheers - I'll be upgrading to cs soon, so I'll check that out :)

stop what your doing and start again in illustrator. Pixels are for fags.
