1 iPod for Mac and PC

  Can you use the same Ipod on a Mac and PC. I helped friend set-up her iPod on a mac and she wants to go home and upload more files off her pc. Will she need to reformat lose the mac data ?

  i think so. i formatted mine for pc and it works fine on both platforms. but when it was formatted for mac my pc would not recognize it.
