is there a way to share my IPOD across my network so that other people with itunes can listen to my music via XP?

if the machines in question are already netowrked then i think the obvious solution would be share the itunes application from the master machine within your network ie. the machine that has the ipod attached to it. i haven't done this myself as my network is iMac G5 to xp pro. but across a windows environment i have shared a single version of an application before, such as an ftp client etc., so i don't see why it won't work with itunes in the same way. basically, x number of machines but 1 version of the itunes application in a shared directory!

Don't think so, and if you could it would probably fry the iPod anyway as they're not designed to have that much disk activity. Just listening to music on mine through my Mac has heated it up until the screen went black (it was ok when it cooled off), so gawd knows what sharing it would do to it.
