I am doing the bloody, cannot read the document you sent me thing with a client. For god sake man.
I have at present sent .pdf, word.doc and now a bloody text document.
Question: Does anyone know if win98 or win2000 or window XP have any problem with reading .RTF format.

RTF should be fine. It's almost alwaya their problemif they can't read a doc.

This is what he has just sent me.
Hi Wayne
Your not having much luck with this CV, I can only read it as a Word Document. I also have a vacancy in Ashford for a similar position but slightly higher paid position if you are interested.
Can you resend your email on word.
WTF

send it to her ... one word at a time!
- Bottlerocket0
And you've sent him a word doc? I hope this is not a technical position you're going for!

It is not my fault that is what he asked for WORD=.doc. no.

Cut and paste it into your email!

save as .txt? (simplest format on the planet?)

well, you could just put it in the body of the email, but remember, no matter what the format, a pc is not intuitive enough to just figure it out and get on with it. you always have to append the filetype to the filename. ha. took me about three hours once just to figure out what the filetype extension for a quark doc would be... qxd? how does that make sense? qxd?
