would you wait for an Intel based Mac or would you go for the Dual core or Quad G5?

i would consider an Intel based Mac if i wanted to wait for 18 months-2 years from now.

It's going to take time for software to catch up so I wouldn't get the Intel Macs for about a year after they are out. I would go with the current G5 if you want something soon.

not only are you going to wait a while, but they are gonna be bug-eeee. The last G5 will be a better computer than the first intel-based mac, it seems pretty obvious.
