I finally got a Fidelity account and grabbed some Cannabis penny stocks. Looking forward to learn, learn , learn. I figure if I can wake up every morning and play around at the start of the market for a little I can make some nice gains.
- not to be rude, but that's not a good first investment, and you won't learn much from itmonospaced
- Gotta start somewhere! Currently watching a great YouTube series on how to day trade.HijoDMaite
- Oh no. Don’t day trade. Ever.
Pot penny stocks are just bad dude.monospaced - Feel free to play like that, but if you want to invest, make a real investment. Get yourself some major stocks to hold and earn on. Play on the side.monospaced
- Well I don’t have accessable cash on hand. The only way would be to pull like 10k out of my 401k and I’m not wanting to do that.HijoDMaite

Chatted to a former fund manager recently, himself a multi-millionaire now... after 25 years in the business he quit, realising, you can't beat the index. His advice mirrored what I've learnt from dabbling in equities for the past 5 years: Buy the index and hold. Or buy a fund that buys the index, something like FRCL or WTAN if you're uk based. FRCL has 150 years of paying dividends. Reinvested dividends, wait. With compound interest, it's all win.

Not much advice here really, just a note to people out there that if you start early and play smart and close to the hip, investing in the stock market is a great way to ensure a secure future for yourself and your family. With very little effort, it's easy to grow wealth with little-to-no risk.
- it's the smart thing to do, considering there's almost nothing better one can do with extra money that would have similar returnsmonospaced
- I forgot to add. If your company has a retirement matching plan, take full advantage, sit back, and watch it roll in. You'll sleep better at night.monospaced
- pushing money into something doesn't create value. i think there is a parallel in thinking of the sorts with education. spending more doesnt mean betterdeathboy
- also take into consideration the investments you make. is it from the fuckup irs loophole that is 401k, which helped fill the coffers of public companiesdeathboy
- similar to ICOs or any crypto in promising rewards. creating a broad market for idiot money is beneficial to whom?deathboy
- take away any gov investment incentive like 1K in savings on tax bill for 5k investment and ppl might think a lil more objectivelydeathboy
- That carrot makes people think gain short run, but not long run. historically the market they know hasn't even lasted a generationdeathboy
- its beta as all fuck considering 70s on after nixon and new incentives. and think about it this way. you take 100% risk, over long period of time for small amoudeathboy
- nt return while those managing cash out 100% returns every quarter. really who feeds who.deathboy
- i think mono if you invested early you'd be wise to think about cashing in now at the high. think stocks are 20k bitcoin levels heredeathboy
- surprised they reached this level, but surprised bitcoin did as well. timing is everything and thats why i dont playdeathboy
- absolutely too irrational. and really the greed of the small truely only benefits the small powerful few who reaps it all.deathboy
- and have u ever thought about the idea, no different than altcoin, to push the idea to pad your gains as well. the whole pyramid scheme of it.deathboy
- strength in believersdeathboy

- only an idiotic, scared, uneducated, naive moron would pull out of the market now and stop growing their wealth 30 years before retirementmonospaced
- and only a drooling dunce would think to compare bitcoin to actual stocks and be taken seriouslymonospaced
- I cashed out, bought an ecommerce site, made 5x the return with 10x the headache. Keep your money in the market!canoe

The best investment advice is not to seek investment advice from QBN.
