I am in tune with my lack of range, I would like to branch out more, but have not had too many oppurtunities for it.
I do have some pieces in different styles but they are rather weak.

Doesn't need to be a lot, just some other 'cleaner' stuff to show you can do that style if you have too.

Love the painting and illys.
If we are being upfront here, I say lose the all caps or at least add some leading. 'Old world typography' had a distinct level of sophistication that you still need to get to, IMO. And put your name somewhere other than buried in the bottom of the last paragraph. HR people could give a sh*t about how emo you are. ;)
Also are you saving that out with jpg compression? The type is broken up at 200%.

Lose the blank-outs too. Doesnt read well.

(Jan 5 06, 19:43)All the more reason to have a clean well considered resume.
Resumes are a information/typography project.
Leave the imagery for your work, which you're obviously talented in.

just for presentation's sake, you need to decide if you're a designer or illustrator.
I like the hummer/converse etc illustrations that you have up top, but I don't know what the hell they are...did you do the book itself or did you just draw in it.
The cds and the shirts are the best for design, put them first. I hate to say it but the shirt photos look like you're fondling yourself. It's creepy and will give a laugh to whoever's hiring (get a chick to model). Also it's hard to see the details in your work. Take new photos on a white background both closeup and full.
Basically, divide your portfolio into design, illustration, and art either sequentially or by seperate pages.
In your resume, rather than "Biography of a Human Being" put "Designer/Illustrator". Format the type out all swiss like so that they know you can do clean straight-on design.
From the looks of it, your spirit hasn't been broken to fit professional standards. It's a blessing, but a curse if you want a job.

also, you should be doing illustrations for periodicals. send your work into the local alternative weekly papers. and this place too http://www.thestranger.com.
but for a design job, you need to showcase design
