i just designed a couple tees for a local band (their manager/promoter, actually) using some personal art i want to keep the copyright for.
basically, i don't want them taking my art and putting it on their album covers or stickers, or anything else, and want the shirt run limited to 5000 pieces. (meaning i don't want to see the shit in hot topic in a month) because they aren't paying a lot for the job.
anyone have a contract or anything for this sort of thing?

maybe this helps

thanks, v3
anyone got a contract i can use?

could this be as simple as outlining my terms in an email with my comps and saying "choosing one or more designs signifies acceptance of the terms outlined above"?
(which would be one application of the art, limited run of 5000)
this would hold up in court, right?

better to have signed paper
this is aigas standard contract. It's 50 pages but might have what you need in it

gotta avoid court but not threat of it. signed paper scares most.
