I've got "Clarendon PL" on my machine, not sure where it came from. Client *wants* to purchase the exact same version - anyone know where it's from? (As opposed to the "LT" version on Linotype).
Any help appreciated. Will probably just shoot them over to them otherwise.

PL = Photo Lettering. It's old old, probably digitized by Mecanorma or another dead foundry. Wish I had better news for you.

It might also stand for "Polish". Fonts quite rarely come with CE characters and I've seen many fonts polonized. Mostly by amateurs, with horrible kerning.
This one though might be coming from a bitstream package released by Theta 10 years ago that was distributed in Poland only.
Test this:

Paste it into photoshop in Clarendon PL. If the letters appear ok, you most likely have Polish Clarendon. It's probably coming from this set of 222 fonts:

(444PLN equals about $150)I think http://kentype.pl might be selling them individually too.
