I have a couple of movieclips in a flash file that I need to "Export to Actionscript". I also need to check the box "Import in first frame", or else it won't work. However, with the "Import in first frame" option checked, the preloader won't show up until the same movieclips are fully loaded.
Is there any good way around this? (I have the preloader in a seperate scene).

Just drop the assets in the second frame or something outside of the stage area. If you aren't going full screen you wont see that area and the assets will be preloaded along with the rest of the movie.
