I want to have a semitransparent png work for a background image in IE.
Ive tried a few way but I want to know what works good for you. Preferably a standards compliant way.
I have it working in everything but IE.
THANKS

transparent pngs in ie are a bitvh you'd have better luck with a gif or jpg

a png is the only format which will appear as transparent over a background image.

IE uses teh activex filter command.
Solution: the AlphaImageLoader filter
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsof... sizingMethod='scale');
