warm compress + don't pick at it
- Jaline0
My friend went to a doctor for that.
"Use a hot compress and give it some time. A doctor will drain it only as a last resort and he will recommend hot applications instead."

i'm sure it's a wives tale, but i think i've heard that rubbing silver on it works.!!!!

watch you don't rub it then rub your other eye. plus they can hang around for AGES.
I ended up with antibiotic eye-drops and it kind of scarred.
sure you'll be ok though, chin up.

such an annoyance
are these caused by stress?
cause I have'nt been stressed at all recentlydammit this sucks

"# Styes are caused by bacteria (germs) which normally live on the skin, but they can also be spread from person to person by touching them.
# Styes tend to come in crops because the germs in the pus can spread to other glands in the eyelid.
# Many children and adults get an occasional stye but if they happen often, see a doctor. "

they're caused by tiny microbes in the air which can land around your eye and start eating their way in, its rare but sometimes they can decrease the pressure on the eyeball and it implodes. Best to keep your eye clean mate.

poke at it with little thin things :D

i'm searching for a picture of my old stye. it was actually bleforitis, inflammation of the eyelid, i named it juju...and i had to have surgery. It was not pretty.
- Ramanisky20
wow woodybatts you had to have surgery?
really? must have been really infected
- woodyBatts0
no, to make a long story short, it was infected and left scar tissue behind that had to be removed.

boric acid. It comes over the counter in is the eyedrop section of the drugstore. The bottle is labled eye wash, or something like that...just read the label. a few drops or eyecup several time a day and it breaks those puppies right up...It's also a great alternative to visine at a fraction of the price, for getting rid of hangover eyes..I get em cuase I rub my sore eyes too much...
right after flinging poo. bad monkey.

Whenever i get one, I rug a gold ring on it, and the next day it is gone

(Mar 22 06, 07:30)Bite is right rubbing something made of pure gold does work but that is for small irritating ones that feel like ou have an eyelash in your eye.
I think Raminsky has a serious infection, bought on by lack of sleep, stress, too much abuse and lack of nutriants.
Slow down a bit have some early nights and see your doc, he will prescribe you antibiotic eye drops, which you have to take even when it seems to have cleared. A friend of mine stopped early and she had to have an opp.
