trying to position a div over some other stuff. i tried
position: relative;
left: -350px;but its bumping down everything on the page. is there a way to make it appear over everything without using z-index?
(i will admit it, i am trying to "hack" a myspace profile)

for what its worth, its not my profile (i do not have one) its for work.
problem with using absolute is that the page is center justified...

i just said, position abs will not work because it is a center justified side. unless i am misinderstanding.
