seems ass backwards to me but a client of ours wants us to match a pantone to a web color that they have provided. the web color is #CC0000 - i can find plenty sites with PMS to Web conversions but not the other way around (and none of the PMS to Web sites are showing CC0000). you're help is greatly appreciated.

surely you just need to get a new pantone chart and find the colour... which sounds like a deep red and match them?

you'd think that would be good enough but this client is going to want to see some type of definite resource.

I used to work for a printer who would go through hell to match his ink from a monitor colour.
Whatta guy!

you're best off to eyeball it then make a fake chart based on your findings to show the client.

match a few ones that you think are close enough from a pantone book, and give your client a choice of 3 or 4 different ones...!
