Nice...looks like he's done some hop up mods to it. Check to see if he's upgraded any brake stuff. You might want to do that if the car still had it's old drums. Other than that a cheap compression test should be done.
I have an old 67 Nova II wagon I want to turn into a lowrider one day.

unless you are in love with that body style i'd hold out for something a little less dazed and confused and a little more street race bad (like an older Chevy II)
but no matter what since it is oldschool muscle, its super simple to work on either for you or your mechanic, literally bolt on everything

Hell yes, V3. I remember putting a starter in my Nova II...start to finish in about 20 minutes.
My wifes water pump died in her 98 Passat...I couldn't even FIND the thing. And get this...our VW mechanic drives a BMW.
