Anyone with any experience using an iMac running WindowsXP as a platform for web testing? I work in a Mac environment but need a PC for debugging sites. Just wanted to see if this was a viable solution.

if all you're goign to be doing is light testing, buy a cheap dell and save yourself a ton of cash.

Windows runs great on the Intel Macs, but if you just wanna test and debug website in win. get this http://www.parallels.com/en/prod…
That way you can run Windows, Linux and Mac OS X at the same time instead of having to reboot constantly. Fill it with ram and you will feel the difference running all 3 at once.I suggest you go to an Apple store and let them give you a little show. I am a skeptic by heart on these things, but it blew me away.

if you can throw your computer out your window and it lives, then you know that Intel is a HARDASS BASTARD!

Easy solution, get a Mac mini. They are Intel also, and perfect for web testing. $600

Excellent suggestions. I want to get a Mac instead of a PC so I can use for something other than a doorstop when I'm not testing sites. A Mac mini may just be the perfect solution.
