watch her merc levels, seriously if yall are planning on babies.

the real inconvenient truth is the automakers are slowly but surely coming up with flex fuel and higher mpg cars and trucks by the dozens. and h2s, escalades and other ultra large suvs can't be given away at the dealers.
how about we as consumers buy less plastics, recycle more, spend less. i like how in pittsburgh and even east st. louis you can hardly count the number of smoke stacks from big business. are those regulated?
and isn't there a 24 hour smog in china cause it's so polluted and overpopulated?
yes. america is to blame. for everything.
- mrdobolina0
garett, who is to blame is not really the point now is it?
- k0na_an0k0

get back to work Kona or you're fired!
Haven't seen the film yet but I do plan on it very soon. The past two days in TO are all the proof you need for global warming.
- mrdobolina0
haha kona.
no doubt visia, it hit 92 here over the weekend, in may.
this all could be cyclic, but everybody knows that pollution is fucking bad.
- anayafx0
at any given time there are hundreds of millions of cars running somewhere in the world, can we really think that this wont have some kind of negative effect on our environment?
not to mention all the commercial polution.
WE need to realize that we are poisining ourselves and this earth.
- kyl30
who is to blame is not really the point...

garrett, any idea who consumes the products produced in china/india. How about globalization? Those factory jobs in china/india used to be here, in your beloved america. americans producing goods for americans. The reason why many companies have been investing in foreign factories is to get around US emmision standards and pay a lower wage. Thats a double whammy, American corporate interests -2.
So yes it is our fault
- version30
everyone bitches about the neg effects but no praise to the pos effects, like your job, your social life, the ability to get away or go on a date
these things all help define who you think you are as a person
your complacency has afforded you the opportunity to be judgemental
- kyl30
the first step is to admit you're wrong
- version30
admitting problems is for 12 step programs. rectifying the problem is the only step if anything is going to get done
like dieting, either you're lazy or you're active. no in between

We're all to blame... you and your precious Mac's, your sweet lil designer kicks and your smooth-ass jeans. You buy - you add to it. Before you begin pointing your fingers - check yourselves.
It's a massive DUH that the whole world needs to get it's act together... but India and China are going to do whatver the fuck they want - they have their industries regardless of 'America's Outsourcing'... lay off the NPR, folks. :)
And what of America's neighbor to the South that has literal SHIT STORMS in dry winter months?
"During the dry winter months, untreated fecal matter also becomes airborne. The resulting dangerous mix is responsible for a wide range of respiratory illnesses. One study of twelve urban areas worldwide in the mid-1980s concluded that the residents of Mexico City had the highest levels of lead and cadmium in their blood. The volume of pollutants from Mexico City has damaged the surrounding ecosystem as well. For example, wastewater from Mexico City that flows north and is used for irrigation in the state of Hidalgo has been linked to congenital birth defects and high levels of gastrointestinal diseases in that state."

Let's talk IMMEDIATE history: Recall 60+ years ago when the United States stepped in and pulled the underwear (Japan and Germany) out of the World's ass?... the United States then proceeded to work to rebuild Europe and get THE WORLD'S economy back on track.
How quickly people forget the good this nation does. It's really no surprise though when you have a bunch illogical emotional environmentalists placing too much of the focus of an increasingly 'bad environment' on the U.S. - It's the proper political move to make these days... 'blame America'.
It's EVERYONE's problem and America isn't free of guilt - don't get me wrong... but blaming America and it's 'big corporations' etc is a weak argument - are you looking for America to lead the way? America can definetly take the reigns in an international effort... but blaming a country for something that's NO ONE'S and EVERYONE'S fault isn't exactly productive...
If you look to Florida and it's Everglade Restoration project - you'll see that people in the U.S. are getting the picture that Man isn't exactly able to change things and expect the 'Earth' to just accept it...
but stop pointing the fucking finger and take in the whole picture - you'll see that ignorance, arrogance and greed reside EVERYWHERE and are the true causes - America is one of Many.
