Howdy,
I want to set up a network between my two Macs at home to share files and share the internet. I have a Hub already, do I also need a Router? Eventually I'll be getting wireless internet, will I need a wireless Hub and Router? Thanks for any info!

you just need a 4 port wireless router. that way for now you can use ethernet cables, and when you get airport cards, you can use the wireless.

you need something (a router) to do network address translation (NAT). Just get a wireless router if you plan to set up a wireless network later.
I forget what networking is like on the mac, but won't be difficult to share files between them.

So I don't need a Hub as well?

just a router

most wireless routers have hubs built-in

a router is a smart hub. hubs are bad in that when a request is returned, it doesn't know from where it originated, so it gets sent out every port. routers are intelligent and only send the response to the port that requested it.
