Is anyone else here a sleep walker? I feel like it may be possible to develop those tendencies depending on the street level or work load you have at the time.

lol Brandelec. Nice.
Recently I moved some things around in my apartment and I have new brusies, I suspect are from sleep walking, bumping into things and forgetting about it. There's nothing else I can think of explain the bruises. I don't bruise easily, so, I would remember a bump that hard.
Oh well.
Oddly, a girl friend of mine took some Lunesta once after her apartment had been broken into. She couldn't sleep. The pills made her get up and repark her car blocks away. In the morning it took forever for her to find it. Sounds dangerous.

there are a large # of murders that are blamed on sleepwalking.
It is a fight or flight response. If startled the person can violently attack and kill the person who woke them.
so tell pepople to stay clear of you if they see you sleepwalking.

I am a sleep walker, but only when I am stressed or something is on my mind. But mine isn't really walking, its more like "traveling".. I feel like I travel through space and time itself.
I do it a lot, really, depends on the time of year. I'll wake up, be in my bed, but believe I am somewhere else. With my friends, in my martial arts studio, at work. And I'm in my boxer shorts trying to cover up so no one looks at me. I will be moving around my room, but totally convinced I am somewhere else, see and feel everything. It's scary.

I wonder if he uses his... "pocket knife"
Bah--dun-dun.
- shellie0
jstahl, that's nuts. Maybe you have some deeper issues? lol
At first I thought you were kidding.
You see... random people.

well, I was in a club here at college, where I met a lot of my best friends. I'd see them around. If I was at work I'd see people at work around. but for the most part, when I wake up and think I'm somewhere else, it is still nighttime. like I just teleported there. my usual response is to
a) assess the situation. (I am in the art studio and its nighttime)
b) find my clothes (no clothes, I'm here in boxers
c) attempt to leave (uh oh the door is locked, or I can't find an escape -- I am usually feeling around my wall walking around my room at this point)
d) decide that its dark and my efforts are useless, so I should just go back to sleep and deal with it when morning comesin which case I go back to sleep and pray for the best

when he was little, my brother was a sleep walker.
once, when i was watching tv he came up to me and started a conversation about what he thought how everything in the room should be laid out and started to move things around.
i was concerned but yet it was hillarious

I need a sleep walker to do my dishes!!
- _salisae_0
your dishes would all be broken and you and your loved ones would probably die .. but yeah anything to get out of that chore

I am a sleepwalker... only seems to happen when i've had a lot to drink these days and it hasn't happened in a while.
I have been known in the past to get climb into bed with my flatmates, starkers. I have woken up on my door step in my pants. I have taken showers asleep. I have been found wandering about with a stepladder attempting to do fuck knows what.
I never remember anything so I only know about the times when I have been seeing someone and they have had to try and talk me back into bed. God knows what else I might have done.

i sleep walk occasionally but like neenaw it tends to be after i've had quite a bit to drink, usually wine.
i once pissed in the dryer. i once woke up outside of my apartment at the time - going from pitch dark to bright outdoor lights woke me, i was in my boxers. I once woke up in the back seat of my car with my legs hanging out the open door.
who knows what else.

Street level?
Do you live in GTA?

brilliant series on UK's Channel 4 at the moment called "Mindshock"
there was one about sleepwalking last week
http://www.channel4.com/science/…the week before that was all about the tiny brain that is in our hearts and about people who were having memories from their heart-donors after transplants. (scary shit!)
last nights program was about what makes people sexual deviants.

I sleepwalked the other week, into my flatemate's fucking bed!! I was drunk and luckily he and his girlfriend weren't in there, they were staying at hers but I felt really weird when I woke up. If I'd have pissed all over his bed I think that might have been the end of our flatting scenario.
When I was a student I've tried to get into my parents bed when I was staying at home, unfortunaly, my rather large, naked and hairy backed dad was in there......he did see the funny side eventually but was surprised to say the least – I was naked as well.

I've had too many alcohol and drug induced sleepwalking experiences to relay. But one of them pretty much ruined my last relationship for about 3 years...
