like the left one best -
perhaps in another colour?right one - initials are too heavy
compared to the scrolling, and toooooo much scrolling.

go lefty.

// Isn't that son's logo?
I like the one on the left as well.
I'm all for flourishs and loops and the whole kit-n-kaboodle though.
The rite one leaves the -s looking nekkid currently.

(Jul 13 06, 13:52)I like that one too, but we're set on the color. I've already decided to go with a dark brown on French Frostone Glacier (the paper has a very light green hue).

i like the left one. as far as the color i might mimick the color of the wedding. )bridesmaids dresses)
the right one's letters get lost with all that lovely scrolling.
real nice work.

I like the right one.

(Jul 13 06, 13:56)Thanks k0na! The bridesmaid's dresses are dark brown and the flowers are light green and white. Plus dark brown & light green is a super classy combination.

the one on the left looks more like it belongs on a product, like a high end chocolate bar.
i say simplify the one on the right a bit.

I would concentrate on the light green and white. With the dark brown as an accent - would be softer
...but what do I know I'm just a "girl"

(Jul 13 06, 13:58)awesome then. I'm diggin the brown. Keep it.

that's a horrible outlook, aliceblue.
i like the left one as well but maybe with an upright container .. the italicized letters provide enough slanting

(Jul 13 06, 14:11)Well If the green's too light it won't be readable. The accent dark brown would read first. And it's already fairly soft, a lot softer than what I started with a few weeks ago...any more so and it would be too girly. plus my fiancee really digs that shade of brown...
But what do I know, I'm just a "guy"
:)
anybody else think the one on the left looks like a chocolate co. logo? I like it, but don't want people to drool on the nice expensive paper by accident...
- aliceblue0
I think you know exactly what you want and the brown is growing on me ... it'll look wonderful!
"and the "just a girl" thing was supposed to be a "joke" ;-)
- gramme0
thx aliceblue! I was jokin too :)

sweet!!!

this is nit picky i realize
BUT
upon viewing it in the larger format .. the upward swoosh off the top of the p (where the ligature connects) could be a little more finessed .. looks like it could be an accident.
very pretty otherwise .. congratulations again!

oh .. haha .. yeah that's funny. i'm actually a hermaphrodite so i don't catch on real fast.

(Jul 13 06, 14:52)come again?

I like the second (tweaked) version better with the more vertical oval.
Very Nice.
I agree with _salisae_ though the top of the p could be tweaked.
