Alright, I just bought a Macbook 2.0 ghz, 512 ram, and what not. Now I am reading on a lot of websites that the Macbooks aren't as fast as they say they are. Furthermore, they run CS2 extremely slow? Whats up?!?!

its running CS2 through an emulation software called rosetta, thats why it runs slower CS2 wasnt made to run on that hardware
Does anyone know if CS2 installed on a PC runninf OSX works fast or is it slow?

at first off the macine runs all programs cept Adobe Apps super fast.
Adobe will run thru Rosetta..it will happen blindly and at first it was noticible but you willget used to it.
sometimes when i use Safari the pointer will hold its position for a few seconds. it does this also sometimes in Firefox.
CS2 doesnt run that slow...but it can...starting up CS2 apps can be longer than usuall.
CS3 is due for a release sometime next year, and its good that you purchased an Intel Mac as by that time your machine will run smoothly and swiftly.
i reconmend to back-up your files weekly.
i havent craashed yet, or un-expectedly quit, but i can imagine it will happen soon.
overall i am very happy with my purchase.
plus its real fast starting up!!!!! thats the best part.
oh...the battery only lasts 2 .5 hours if just left idle...if you are doing something or watching a movie or something your battery wont last that long. be aware of that...
also the area between the bottom of the screen and above the keys gets extremely hot, and if you are to use it on your lap make sure you are wearing think deniim or your sperm count will be gone.
