Seriously, that's their mode, designed/planned obsolescence. It's a bit disgusting, especially when the burn their customers.

many companies do that.
look at the cellphone market and companies in the states. it's just what it is. a common business practice.
in any case, mighty mouse sucks.

i never use mine it makes me feel uncomfortable. that little scroller is downright clitoral.

I used a mighty mouse for the first time this past weekend and it is wack.

my clitoral roller ball has stopped scrolling down, damned infuriating.

I know it's common. I'm talking mainly talking about their history..like releasing $1600-2200k computers in 2000 that weren't capable of running their new OS a year later in a usable manner.
- mrdobolina0
they make you buy all of their trickle-ware OS Updates too.
that is weak.
- Engage0
mine stopped working... until i pressed it down and rubbed it really hard... not a joke!
- tkmeister0
i agree with you, mimio.
they are not very good at launching products or scheduling them. but, at the end, many of us keep buying.
as a shareholder, i just wanna see their stock goes up!

(Jul 25 06, 08:55)Yea Ive had that problem with them in the past, rather annoying.
I usually was able to fix it by just banging it on top, or by blowing in the assembly. I think it stops working when peices of dust or skin etc get under it.
I just love the horizontal scroll and the side buttons.

is the wired mouse any less functional now that a wireless one is available?
i'm not backing Apple in all there business ethics, but really this is no big deal.
- kelpie0
It's now going side to side, Engage, how hard do I need to rub it, and for how long, usualy?
