looking for web-based qa/bug tracking software. something SIMPLE not super crazy ass.

PHP?? I use a custom function in each php page that works on all mysql queries using the 'or' statement. super useful for picking up problems with live sites.

undo, that is a great command never saw it before. i had been manually typing in function names and file names for error reporting.
however i am looking for a front-end application for people to qa a site with. looking at jira now.

I dont know any of the front end qa stuff sorry - but the error funcs are really useful too.
if yr interested you should also loiok at the ErrorDocument directive for Apache - use it to create custom error pages and combine yr reporting with REQUEST URI to have the website report bugs and highlight bad bots
