Thanx for everyone who commented before. The meeting went well and we ended up choosing one that I hadn't showed anyone...ironic
The block one is based on the golden rectangle.
The scripty M's are something she wanted me to work some examples up. I hate them all but #2. It looks like a tornado.
I am interested what people think about the golden rectangle one...
Any and all feedback is appreciated.

reads 'mancin'

imo, the logic you've employed in your golden mean one is irrelevant. At the very least, your text height should be scaled within the relationship - but doesn't appear to be.
The other logos are.. veering further away from where they oughta be - Rasko's comment yesterday about Whitechapel Bangladeshis (or whatever) seems particularily pungent now I see your new efforts, 1 - 4.
When I started out (I still am, of course), I always found that I'd start thinking about Golden Relationships when I didn't have a clue otherwise how to employ a design/logo/etc.
Maybe it's time to go back and pad out that moodboard - 'what exactly are you trying to achieve'?
btw. I still, in opposition to everyone here, think there's room for manoeveur with that 'awful' M you used yesterday - at least that was strong and personable.
Good luck, man

you know, the thing about logo's is, we've all seen them before, ya know? It's been done to death, this whole logo thing...
let's move on...

2 for me, don't like the golden section stuff, I agree with Nairn on that one...
No. 2 reminds me of a stitching motion, maybe its just me...

I really like number 2 as well.
My problem is that she liked the big block one best, so now (after the fact) I am trying to make it mean something.
I had hopes that I would be able to avoid a logo mark and go with a clean logo type, but she seems to think it needs something else.
I think it needs to be clean, clear, and simple.
Hopefully I will get what I want.

And the only reason I went with the golden mean thing is because I wanted to convey a sense of smugness and arrogance with the logo...I may or may not have achieved it.
Thanx for the feedback. I will try to simplify everything down to the level I want it to be.
And the crazy big M from yesterday will probly not come back...

I like 2. Feels fashiony, looks pretty complete.

Thanx.
I think I agree that #2 is the best so far.
Thanx for the feedback.
I get all excited about a logo until I hear the feedback from the client...
