Wouldn't say it's brit pop but have a look, good stuff. Like the streets crossed with some rock like th Jam or something.

Yeah, Ive had Wooley Bridge and WhatIfs on my mp3 collection since January.
get with the kids bro!
lol
Wooley bridge is great. definitely sounds like an older more mature band like the Jam or something rather than the 'noise' of the Arctic Monkeys

Yeah, I still think the artctic monkeys are my favourite band out of sheffield thougth – Milburn are good to check as well as Little Man Tate. Not heard the Long Blondes' stuff, or The Harrisons....but I'm back up in sheffield this weekend so might have a look round.
Best Bromhead's tune is Pinch of Psalt, fucking great!

have you heard of Reverend and the Makers?
A mate reccomended them to me a while back too. their stuff is like a The Streets meets Arctic Monkeys meets Dance stuff.
They used to have all their tunes available to download from their site but have taken them off now. BOO!

saw them on the artrocker bill at south by south west in march, they were great! the sewers had gone wrong so there were literally pools of shit flooding the venue but they rocked throughout, that's the mark of a good band!! was wondering what had happened to them?

Think they have a UK tour coming up quite soon!

saw them at the London Calling festival in Amsterdam. The singer jumped of the stage twice and the second time his head hit his guitar. In broke in two.His guitar i mean. They continued without guitar but with a bloody head. It was awesome!
