Marijuana soft drinks launched
A California entrepreneur has plans to market a line medical marijuana soft drinks.
Clay Butler says he plans to supply medical marijuana dispensaries with his soda pot, which contains the psychoactive marijuana ingredient THC, according to the Santa Cruz Sentinel newspaper.
Marijuana drinks are already showing up here and there, but Butler says he thinks his branding savvy will make his product a hit.
Besides his flagship cola drink, Canna Cola, he will also produce Dr Pepper-like Doc Weed, lemon-lime Sour Diesel, grape-flavoured Grape Ape and orange-flavoured Orange Kush.
A bottle will cost US$10 to US$15.
The Soquel-based commercial artist tells the newspaper that he doesn't do drugs or need medical marijuana for any ailments.

this was in the Pic of the day and reminded be of a good ganja story...
It was a dark summer night... Me and a few friends were driving around the country side smoking some ganja since we were all living at home at the time. As we got more and more stoned we started talking about how the landscape looked like a place were bigfoot would live. We started chuckling about how crazy it would be if he jumped out of the wood into the middle of the street and attacked us in the car. Just a split second passed as we headed up to a blind curve and the headlights beamed onto a large furry animal in the middle of the road. We all creamed as the driver slammed on the brakes.... then the deer scampered off into the woods. But for that slit second we all though our bigfoot story was about to come true.

Can someone answer this question for me . . . is there a specific marijuana tax in california or in netherlands and places with decent weed laws? Is it separate and above all business or sales taxes? Is medical marijuana taxed separately ?

Went to Aspen on a shoot last week and ended up going on one of the mountains with the photographer and the 5D and shot some 4.5 minute exposures of he mountains. We got took up there by the valet, who smoked with us and then kept getting calls to tell him to get back to work. I was fairly baked by the end of it, but it was a super eerie moment looking at the RAWs on screen. I will try and find them and post them...
