Hi,
this is something that has been bugging me for a while, but I've never really taken the time to figure it out:In illustrator, how do you join two open endpoints that are in teh exact same place?
For instance, I trace a lot of stuff that I want to be symmetrical - usually I start off tracing one half of the object, than copying and mirroring the path. Then, obviously, I want to Join the two (or four actually) endpoints in the absolute center, but I cant seem to select two endpoints that are in the same place, snapped to eachother sort of.
(What I end up doing is zooming in as far as I can and move one of the paths a nudge to one side, so that I can select both.)
I would really appreciate some help with this :)

But I cant select multiple points when they're in the same place! I have to select both points, right?

average them and they become one!

Yes, But how do I select them both when they're in the same exact spot?!

drag the direct selection cursor over both
