good work... i likes.

wow kim, that video looks amazing. Did you do it all yourself, what with your motion/interactive skills?
Looks very slick! I clicked to come to the launch, will you be playing live?
Great idea getting your hard-fi mates to make a little promo for you too, all marketing cylinders on full then!
- moth0
i'm there!
being a loner an all....Looks great - and I shall buy a copy.
- Engage0
you're not a hard-fi groupie are you? when i was in leeds when they were supporting embrace they were next to us in the crowd... and there were some girls hanging around with them with far too much makeup on :)
- MR_T0
Is there something wrong with that ? I would love it if I happened to have "some girls hanging around with them with far too much makeup on :)"
- Engage0
yes there is
- vespa0
yea baskerville been doing the video all myself, it's sooo not gonna be finished in time but everyone needs to attempt something ridiculous every now and then huh?
yes we'll totally be playing live. also this brilliant punk band called bucky will be supporting us, the drummer only has one arm and he turns his bass drum over and hits it with his stump. bucky rock!
haha engage yea hard-fi fans are annoying but the lads themselves are really nice. good of them to send the vid for sure...
- Engage0
and they have more than one video for each song... how unfair is that!
- vespa0
that's just greedy! geez we'll probably only have half a video at the rate i'm going
- 23kon0
you IN the band Vespa?
- vespa0
yes that's me looking like a mutant and dancing like a funny ragdoll tamagotchi
- 23kon0
hey good goin missus :)
have just been listening on your myspace page - songs are tight.
- Baskerville0
haha, Bucky that's so weird.
I went to see Kula Shaker at the Forum with my cousin who fancied the bass player about 8 years ago (I was about 16), Bucky were supporting and I remember I had to hang around afterwards so she could meet the band. I ended up talking to the 2 guys from Bucky because I was bored. I seem to remember we chatted about his old Silvertone guitar – a danelectro copy.
I can't believe they're still going, his stump didn't bother me but the fact that he drummed with it did. I kept thinking it might get injured or something, weird
- mrdobolina0
nice, looks very pro lady
- vespa0
haha look at you distancing yourself from the kula shaker gig with your disclaimers, baskerville!
i think simon played tambourine for KS, heh.
joff doesn't just bang the drum he slaughters it with his stump! bucky are great!
- Baskerville0
Well, I was a bit dubious of Kula Shaker even at the time (no really). I was still in my indie phase and had only been playing guitar for a couple of years.
Looking back they probably weren't so bad, just very derivitive, all those wannbe deep purple moments. From what I remember the fact that he really went for it with his stump was what scared me.
But hey John Bonham used to play with his hands sometimes to whatever!
