thanks janne, it does usually happen when i am using CadTools a plug-in and either instantly when it happens the un-excpeted quit happens, and when i start back up i get the [PARM] error message.
i like that plug-in it hellps so much when spec work is done. it saves me so much time.
ill try it, im getting so stressed in re-doing the same sketches over and over as the files are becoming so corrupted...
and to add to it the G5 i am working on is less than 2 weeks old and the CS2 is also just as new...

you can best try to have an older copy of illustrator handy, a lot of plug-ins have not always been updated for the latest version.

i actually cant, because i came from a G3 with os 7.6 and illy9 to macbookpro intel with CS2 and the G3 is dead hence the upgrade, plus NT didnt look to special on internet explorer version 3 either.
look at me waking up to technology!!!!!!!
