seriously flagellum. Lemmys wart is pavlovs dog. he has done NTPE exchanges before, lord knows why I would go to those lengths to tell you I think you are wrong.

Who's "we", lemmy? Since there are plenty of theist scientists. And it seems that with every new discovery in evolutionary anthropology, biochemistry, etc... a powerful designing intelligence is implicated in what is found.

can you please tell me why christianity is your religion of choice?
- flagellum0
mrdobolina: I think we know why you won't (can't) tell me I'm wrong. ;)
- flagellum0
bolus: I don't see it as a religion. I'm a believer in Christ and his follower. It's a relationship. And I am one because he chose me before the foundation of the world.

so sayeth the shepherd, so sayeth the flock.

I'm sorry..I'd add to the debate but I'm too busy playing as the Antichrist forces in that Left Behind video game...

I'm not interested in rebutting you arguments one by one personally, they are all old arguments that i have heard before and have been dealt with here.

Dear flagellum,
Quick questions:
1. Were you born into your religion?
and if you answered yes to the first question...
2. If your parents were atheist, do you think that you would have discovered Christianity by yourself?
Thanks,
- flagellum0
Talk Origins is not taken seriously by most people who are not militant Darwinist. You can find all of their strawmen torn down here:

Utterly unconvincing links, self-referential, unscientific garbage.

lol, Brook you just trumped all the intellectually dishonest people here! Congratulations. You see, calling it something doesn't make it so. You have to actually challenge the specific arguments and evidence on it's own merits. Me saying that Darwinism is an unfalsifiable tautology rooted in 19th Century, steamboat-era thinking, doesn't make it so (even though it is). Rather, it's discussion of specific evidence is how good conclusions are drawn.

Science by far has no way won the battle, despite the fact that everyone thinks it's a done deal with their computers and airplanes.
The forces of darkness are still out there, waiting to dumb down the unexpecting victims..

you win, god created everything.
- mrdobolina0
now will you shut up about it?

i have a feeling this thread has evolved
into some kind of dookie slangin' contest.
- flagellum0
The challenge lies with a Darwinian Fundamentalist, like yourself, to demonstrate how non-telic, blind, materialistic Darwinian mechanisms have and can produce novel cell types, tissue, or body plans. And digital algorithms, machinery and specified information at the cellular level. Go ahead.
...I'm waiting....
...and make sure you highlight where variables and controls were in place in the research to ensure that it was NS and not pre-existing encoding unfolding new features that produced the true novelty.

jesus doesn't like your spitefulness.

Science indeed has won. It has won over Darwinian mythology. It has demonstrated that 19th century notions about how nature works, are wrong. It has shown that there just may have been planning and purpose in life's origin and in speciation.
