Yea, this past season is kind of crappy.
Prison Break kind of fell off too.
Heroes really stepped up, and I’m basically watching the former two, just because I’ve spent so much time with them already, haha.

(Mar 20 07, 10:46)I'm glad you said it.
Things are being made up on the fly...
Jack headed back to China about Audrey, who will turn up alive, I'm sure.
And speaking of turning up, does anyone ever STAY FIRED on this show?
Talk about job security...

Once they killed off Curtis (well they shot him in the neck and haven’t confirmed he is dead yet), I was turned off mentally to the show.
I was hoping he would take the Jack Bauer mantle in the next few seasons.

(Mar 20 07, 11:08)chloe and jack were never fired...were they?
- ItTango0
Wasn't Chloe canned last season for helping Jack against orders (again!).

People get fired and get brought back because it’s one day and they realize that everyone else in town is running for the hills so bringing someone else in, isn’t very feasible.

Man, I didn't think the nuke thing would be resolved that quickly last night. Jack Bauer, you're Mr. Awesome!!!!!!

Yeah the hanging by steel chain was fantastic.
"Say hello to your brother for me."
Bit ridiculous though that the chinaman calls Jack RIGHT after the bomb situation is neutralized, as if on command.
Then again, I'm talking about a show whos' hero doesn't eat, shit or sleep and apparently heals broken ribs at a Herculean pace.

show has really gone down hill. the acting and dialogue is so bad it makes me cringe.

i loved how Ricky Schrooder looks around at all the dead bodies, and HassanChop in the chains in complete awe of Jack and his Halo skills!!!

I predict that next season will simply be the lighter side of Jack Bauer - 24 hours of him trying to romance Audrey and get in her pants after he rescues her and takes her to a vacation resort in Fiji for some much needed R&R.
He will rescue Audrey in the last episode this season, and the clock will tick to a close on this season just as Jack unbuttons her pants and places his thumb and forefinger on her zipper against the backdrop of blowing silk curtains and the gentle sound of waves lapping the shore.
Then the clock comes back on and that's the end of this season.

Yea, what the fucking fuck.
Suspending one’s disbelief is part of the fun for this show, and movies like this and the like ... however ... I think the point for this show was reached for me quite some time ago.
And the ending to last nite’s was definitely the straw that broke the camel’s back.

flavorful,
I hear many people saying that, but for me this was the first season I ever watched of 24, so it was pretty good. Lots of shark jumping here and there, but it satisfied me 100% considering how worthless my main favorite show has been: Lost.
- ********0
I have never watched Lost, and make conscious efforts not to.
I did that with 24 for awhile until I eventually *had* to watch it, and found it enjoyable with the whole, suspend your disbelief thing.
But as far as jumping shark, I think Fonzie would attempt to jump these plot lines if they were available back in those days of happy television programming.
