sorry sputnik, I just find it ironic that all these tough guys that were laughing at the abu ghraib torture pictures are now crying over a crippled dog.
Isn't that ironic at all?

(Jan 19 07, 14:39)if you know for sure which people it was, then i guess i see your point.
i would just hate for people to assume i wouldn't care about tortured humans just because i express concern for animals as well.

nah, it is just isolated dickheads around here.

they're soldiers, which means they're dumb as fuck. they're american soldiers which means they are soldiers by own choice, which means dumb as doublefuck.
what can you expect?

Oh, shut up.

(Jan 19 07, 15:24)that you see the world in the same goofy kind of absolutes as george bush?

(Jan 19 07, 16:16)well that would make me a good soldier then, I suppose.
but really, this is a job that is about obeying, killing and getting killed. it either takes predestined special people or utterly naive (euphemism for dumb) ones, or in countries with obligatory service not being smart enough to avoid it.
I am sorry, I just don't understand how people can be surprised by dumbass violent behaviour of any army. They might be quite civilized (don't rape, burn and steal everything they see) unlike the red army in the ww2, but still, they're what they are.

their job is to be cold, there's no such thing as compassion training in the army

(Jan 19 07, 16:51)although I disagree with your early thoughts, you're spot on there. They're still grunty bastards and they chose to join and have to be there based upon contract or otherwise jail-time. They get ticked off being there just the same.
shit happens, doesn't mean it's right
wait until they reinstitute the draft and everyone will have to serve. the immigration rate here will drop like flies

oh noes!
the united staes tortured 150 people!
wonder how many koran based wife beatings were doled last night?
everythings realative...
- M0NEYCIDE0
everything's relative and so is your comparison...why is it the american government vs muslim married couples ? what about bible beatings ? what about alcholhol beatings wat about...just shut up.
by the way americans have torture imprisoned killed millions. millions. the history of the us military did not start in 2004.

(Jan 19 07, 17:44)you really need to start looking into the mass killers:
http://www.moreorless.au.com/kil…heavily outweighs anything the US has ever done.
can you count? for fuck's sake King Leopold killed close to 15 million Africans: http://www.moreorless.au.com/kil…
*sigh
- M0NEYCIDE0
i ain't comparing is my point, you might as well lump them all in the same camp as far i'm concerned, he killed millions, so did the usa period .it's discusting and disturbing and baffingly infuriating so much i don't even comprehend how angry and sad it makes me.
*breaks a few tears and storms out.

"everything's relative" sounds too much absolute to me.

(Jan 19 07, 16:51)I sorta agree.
That's why Canada just calls them "peace-keepers", heh.
- Seff0
that's considered torture?
ive seen worse at my jr high bus stop
are you fucking kidding me?
- TheBlueOne0
Yeah, again I gotta say, that's a feral wounded animal in the middle of a warzone..could be a danger to other people. I mean what do you want them to do, call the Baghdad ASPCA? You think PETA will be dropping by to take care of it? The dogcatcher?
C'mon..these guys were amused that the thing could still walk around balanced on two legs, threw some small rocks at it to get it to move..and then contemplate putting it out of it's misery and potential danger to others..giving the circumstances that's hardly torture..
- version30
could be worse

Dear pixel pushers,
I'm sorry if I murdered people on a somewhat regular bases I would find that fuck up dawg entertaining.
I honestly can't wait for China to take you useless Americans over and then make us
(canada) their bitch ass drivers.Any of you dicks wanna pass judgment on people in war situations should try it first and see how you stack up. I bet 98% of you NT patrons would skip town the moment you bitches got drafted.
Understand I would be in the front of the line to skip town believe me!
But judging that actions of someone in situation that you would never be able to put yourself into is appalling
