it aint that easy to get seamless longlasting professional screenprints on your bathroom floor without an exposure unit, flash dryer, a buckled screen and water based inks.

screen printing is one of the cheapest methods of producing prints. especially if you do it yourself. I mean, if you are designing a screen print, why not print it yourself? That way you are the only one controlling the design from concept to completion. To me, when designers design a screen print and outsource the printing.. well that's just lazy, and missing out on the best part. the printing is half the fun. hydro does the same thing.. I don't get it.
but whatever, its your world.

(Feb 26 07, 09:30)thats rubbish man, i did it as an extra course at school, the man hours that go into it and the inks are quite expensive...but whatever man...

(Feb 26 07, 09:37)well then don't print them on your bathroom floor. And you dont need a flash dryer for water based inks. also, a dirty gritty finish is part of a screen print appeal.

You can argue the toss for as long as you want [and you probably will], but i will say that the screen printers who printed these [K2] really are the dogs bollocks and they aren't cheap [they are just very fucking good!]. It's all subjective, but to call this shit/expensive is a liitle daft in my opinion.
But carry on anyway, it always makes me smile when the NT haters start up.

Well don't allow him to plug his stupid posters on this forum then. We all had a go at poor ol' chucky anderson and didn't get any strikes. Come on then, STRIKE ME! I DARE YA I DOUBLE DARE YA! BUILD IS NOT THE GREATEST DESIGNER IN THE WORLD!
honest
(Feb 26 07, 08:58)there goes honest.
sometimes it doesn't pay to be honest.

the posters look ace
But I do think I rather have an original Malevich or Klein hanging on the wall!

I think one must own all the prints and place them in a row to achieve a worthwhile effect, imho. I do think it's a nice idea. It's like a lot of triptychs & installations I've seen, all pieces need to be assembled for the piece(s) to work.
I for one would like to see a reprint of the Symbolism poster. That I would buy right quickly.

michael, as james (gradiate) tried before, its really no use. they'll never stop.
- Jaline0
I like it, but I would never pay that much for it.
