You have nice work. But I have no idea for oop north. Not the highest wages there. 25k to 35k?
- springbok0
cheers skt, love how clean your site is btw, anyone else?
- springbok0
anyone else help me out?
- e-pill0
the range that skt had given you was great, if you want a more specific number ask for 28k.
or you can check here:
http://www.allgraphicdesign.com/…that link is for USD salaries...but im sure you can figure out the British conversion and figure it out.

$35,000?? can u live confortably in the US for $35K p/a?
thats like £17K which in london is meager!
- e-pill0
35k is in pounds not dollars
- springbok0
anyone else from the uk give me a better idea?preferably from up north

In particular I like that Blowback illustration skt, nice choice of colour! ;)
It Depends on what/where you work obviously, but 2 years isnt seen as a great deal of experience in this industry to be going over 25k.
Now... i need to look for work myself in this smokey city...

up north with 2 years exp, i'd say £25,000. Ask for £27 maybe. But i think with 2 years £28,000 would be more of a london wage really.

you'd be lucky get that much outer london.
for example un.titled leicester job posted...

3 - 4 years experience
Salary £24K

2 years isn't a lot of commercial experience. It totally depends on the type of company and work you're looking for. Most small creative companies in Leeds would laugh at you if you asked for £25k.
- phatlee0
It depneds on where you apply. 2yrs isn't a lot of commercial experience. I'd go in at £18k and wouldn't expect more than £25k.
- springbok0
you think i should be going in at 18k??

You'll be looking at 18-22k absolute tops with only 2 years exp in or around Manchester. As sadly even with a Masters, you will be classed as a Junior.....Well unless you have won sh** loads of awards, then you might be able to get 25.
I'll give you a example
Me: Art Director, in charge of a team of 5, won quite a few awards. 7 years experience, work and live in Manchester for a decent agency.........On 26k. It's pants but we apparently do this for the love of the job????

Yeah that ain't good....
No wonder yo want "to go it alone".
- HomeCreative0
Sorry forgot to add, this is because of the wages in Manc are generally low.
Some nice work though.
One question people will ask is... If your agency is so successful, why are you looking for a job? I'd be prepared for that question!
Good luck

basically i am working in house, and with a change of circumstances it looks like i am going to be senior designer fairly quick as the director has told me he wants me to take the role on. I am just thinking about a step up in wages. I dont know what the other guy was on, but i think this company pay pretty well, What u recon?
