why are they ALWAYS hiring?? growth is one thing, but hiring ACDs and ADs like they're customer service reps seems very odd to me. Seems like they always have a slew of jobs open. Anyone have any insight? Just curious.

Why not email them and ask

yeah it does seem suspect for sure because they aren't a very big agency, much of the time they are just "collecting" resumes so if a headhunter sends them a canidate the agency can be cheap and avoid paying them a finder's fee by telling them they already have their resume on file.

i doubt i'd get an honest answer if i emailed them... and i don't care that much. they just keep popping up here all the time, so i was wondering if anyone had any experience with them.
the collecting resume theory seems like a good one.

I've noticed the same thing. They are ALWAYS hiring... I figured they had a huge turnover for some reason.
I hadn't thought of the resume collection.

Is anyone really *that* cheap anymore?

their website doesn't exactly scream:
"we're a hot agency and we need TONS of new ACDs and ADs and Senior Designers immediately in order to even come close to handling the major work we've got piled up!!!"
That's all i'm saying...

Probably 2 reasons. They have some huge accounts listed, and they are expanding their contracts. And they probably work with a lot of freelance and subcontractors.
